Individual Project: Sculpting, Rendering
For the first assignment in the Creature Sculpting class at the Digital Animation Center, we learned about the anatomical features and muscle groups of humans, and created a sculpt that represented our understanding of the different forms. We started with a low poly human basemesh, a physical anatomical model, and some image planes, and then derived the major muscle groups on the body excluding the fingers and toes. After sculpting, the model was rendered in Arnold, and the final composite was created using Photoshop.
