Reel Breakdown
Shot 1: Abandonment Hatch to Test Course 14 - Ziti Ruttland
Responsible for modeling, texturing, layout, lighting, plant generation, rendering, and compositing of scene elements. Hard surface assets were created using Autodesk Maya, textured using Substance Painter or Photoshop, rendered in Unreal Engine 5.1, and composited using Unreal Reader for NukeX. Landscape layout was created using ZBrush, and vegetation was generated using SpeedTree 7 for Games. Vegetation started as default species assets from the SpeedTree library before being customized, and the scene uses Quixel Megascans for ground-cover.
Shot 2: Stylized Parisian Street
Responsible for modeling, texturing, layout, lighting, plant generation, and rendering of scene elements. Hard surface assets were created using Autodesk Maya, textured using Substance Painter or Photoshop, and rendered in Arnold. Vegetation was generated using SpeedTree 9 for Cinema, with plants starting as default species assets from the SpeedTree library before being generated to match reference. Stylized brushstroke tool was created by Avery Buffington.
